3G WAP CONFIGURATION
1. Press Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection
2. Select Access point
3. Press Options and select Create new access point using Default settings
4. Enter the following details:
Connection name: Maxis 3G WAP
Data bearer: Packet Data
GPRS access point name: (NOTE: unetfor 3G or netfor GPRS)
User name: maxis
Password prompt: No
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http://wap.maxis.com.my/wml/index.wml
5. Press Option and select Advance settings
6. Enter the following details:
Network type: -<blank>
Phone IP address: Automatic
Primary name server: -<blank>
Secondary name server: -<blank>
Proxy server address: 202.075.133.049
Proxy port: 80
7. Press Back to return to Menu
8. Select Web > Options > Settings
9. Under Default access point, select Maxis 3G WAP as the active profile Nokia N73
MMS CONFIGURATION
1. Press Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection
2. Select Access point
3. Press Options and select Create new access point using Default settings
4. Enter the following details:
Connection name: Maxis 3G MMS
Data bearer: Packet DataGPRS access point name: (NOTE: unetfor 3G or netfor GPRS)
User name: maxis
Password prompt: No
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http://172.16.74.100:10021/mmsc
5. Press Option and select Advance settings
6. Enter the following details:
Network type: -<blank>
Phone IP address: Automatic
Primary name server: -<blank>
Secondary name server: -<blank>
Proxy server address: 202.075.133.049
Proxy port: 80
7. Press Back and return to Menu
8. Select Message > Options > Settings > Multimedia Message
9. Under Access point in use, select Maxis 3G MMS as the active profile Nokia N73
VIDEO STREAMING
1. Press Menu > Imaging
2. Select Real Player> Option > Settings> Connection
3. Select Proxy and choose No
4. Under Network Settings, under Default Access Point select Maxis 3G WAP Nokia N73
EMAIL CONFIGURATION
1. Press Menu
2. Select Messaging
3. Press Options and select Settings
4. Select E-mail
5. Press Options and select Open
6. Select Mailboxes
7. Press Options and select Add new mailbox
8. Enter the following details:
Mailbox name: <Your preferred mailbox name>
Access point in use: Maxis 3G WAP
My email address: <Your full email address>
Outgoing mail server: <Your ISP outgoing server name>
Send message: Immediately
User name:<Your email id>
Password: <Your email password>
Incoming mail server: <Your incoming mail server name>
Mailbox type: POP3
Security: Off
APOP secure login: Off
9. Press Back to complete settings Nokia
